What Data Does DiffPay Store?
- Account info — email address (for sign-in), role, timezone
- Job profiles — employer name, pay rates, OT rules, schedule settings
- Shift entries — clock times, break minutes, differentials applied, calculated pay
- Billing info — managed by Stripe; DiffPay never sees your card number
Where Is My Data Stored?
DiffPay uses Supabase (hosted on AWS) for the database and authentication. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
Can I Export My Data?
Yes. Go to Settings > Profile and click "Export my data (JSON)." This downloads a complete copy of your profile, job profiles, shifts, differential rules, and alerts.
Can I Delete My Account?
Yes. Go to Settings > Profile and click "Delete my account." This permanently deletes your Supabase account and all associated data. If you have an active subscription, it will be cancelled first.
Analytics
DiffPay uses PostHog for privacy-respecting product analytics. You can decline analytics cookies via the cookie consent banner. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
